THE WORKFLOW

One outline. Four steps.

Change titles, hierarchy, physical page numbers, color, bold, and italic. Review the result before it goes into a report.

  1. 01

    Export

Open the PDF with your existing bookmarks and export the outline to CSV.

  2. 02

    Edit

Make bulk changes in your spreadsheet. Keep the six column headers and save as UTF-8 CSV.

  3. 03

    Review

Choose the revised PDF. Import the CSV, apply a page offset if useful, and check each destination.

  4. 04

    Save & check

Save a new PDF, then open it in your usual reader to verify the bookmark destinations.

You control the page mapping.

BookmarkPatch does not recognize matching content or automatically find moved pages. Page numbers start at the first physical PDF page, even when printed page labels differ.

A REAL, SYNTHETIC EXAMPLE

Inspect the before
and after.

A four-page report becomes five pages after a new front sheet. Apply an offset of +1, import the edited CSV, and save seven bookmarks with two revised titles.

The first destination becomes page 2; the last becomes page 5. These are synthetic documents made for the example.

BEFORE YOU USE IT

Clear boundaries.

Windows x64

A portable ZIP: extract all files and keep the accompanying folders. Python is not required. The initial executable is unsigned; follow your organization’s software approval process.

Bookmarks, not page content

No OCR, document text editing, or page reordering. Imported destinations fit the whole page; custom zoom, coordinates, and collapsed states are not preserved.

Supported input limits

Up to 100 MiB and 3,000 PDF pages. Encrypted, signed, certified, XFA, and portfolio PDFs are rejected. Some unusual bookmark actions are unsupported.

Review in your PDF reader

Keep your originals and check the output before distributing it. The release has not been tested inside Bluebeam Revu. It is not a compliance or archival certification tool.

SUPPORT & POLICIES

Help without sharing your documents.

Contact & support

Email pskyun1006@gmail.com for product and setup questions.

Start with the application guide. For a question, include your app version, Windows version, and the error text. Please do not attach client PDFs, passwords, or confidential information.

BookmarkPatch is an independent software project. Support is provided through documentation and email.

Planned refund policy

When sales open, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase using the support email and your order reference. You do not need to send your documents.

Refunds are returned through the payment provider; timing depends on your payment method. A full refund ends the paid license. Already downloaded files cannot be remotely removed. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited.

Privacy

The desktop app processes your PDFs and CSVs locally. It has no account, telemetry, or remote license check. This website has no document upload, signup form, advertising tracker, or customer database.

The hosting provider may process technical request information to serve and protect this site. If you email support, the email provider processes your message. Share only what is needed for your question. No payment details are collected on this site.

Use & licensing

The planned personal license covers one person on up to two devices, including commercial document work. It does not permit sharing or reselling the paid application. Your documents and outputs remain yours.

Version 1 remains usable offline after a valid purchase. Future major versions are not included. Third-party components retain their own licenses. See the prelaunch license draft for the current terms.
